Happy Mother's Day Daughters

You can see it in their eyes, in tender hugs and long good-byes, a love that only moms and daughters know.
You can see it in their smiles, through passing years and changing styles, a friendship that continually seems to grow.
You can see it in their lives, the joy each one of them derives, in just knowing that the other one is there...
To care and to understand, lend an ear or hold a hand, and to celebrate the memories they share.
Once upon a memory Someone wiped away a tear, Held you close and loved her daughters three,
Once upon a yesterday, someone opened up my life and made it so much better,
Thank you, Daughters, three.

Mia Culpa, Mia Culpa

... which means I'm sorry in Latin (I think).
So enough people have said to me, I checked your blog, and you haven't updated in forever, what's up with that?? Well, I gotta tell you, the days of knitting at work all day are long gone. My latest assignment (since October), has me on the computer & phone all day, talking to people, resolving issues between sales folks and customers, and doing serious research and math! So, pretty much, the last thing I want to do in any free time I have, is sit in front of a computer. However, since this is the best way for me to keep in touch with lots of folks at one time, then I need to make better efforts. And I miss you guys too.
Rather than try to catch up on the last 6 months, I'll just go forward from here. And I'll start with one of my favorite topics... my grands! Here are a few of my favorite pics of them, the day after the twins' 11th birthday. Well, Zoey's is from Christmas, but I just adore the pic!

.. and next time, it'll be a few of my favorite people from Buffalo, but I don't want to hog the blog all at one time!!

Scrappers Alert!

Okay ladies, Kisha posted her blog candy, and it is some amazing stuff! I'm not even letting her put my name in the bowl, cuz that just wouldn't be fair to you! So, check out her site, she's under my faves, and leave her a comment letting her know you stopped by... and good luck!!

Two posts in one day???

Kisha can never call me a slacker again!! And she STILL owes us blog candy!! Okay, before the sunflowers are done for the season, here's one more post on them. The first pic is more nontraditional sunflowers Doug planted, but they can't be seen with the traditional ones towering over them. The others are our sunflower collection in total.
